My Story

Art That's Shaped by Years of Artistic Growth

My artistry is rooted in the expressive world of acrylic fluid painting, shaped by years of artistic growth and personal evolution. I am a retired artist and painter now living in San Tan Valley, Arizona, where the vibrant landscape and the presence of my granddaughter inspire my creations. I first trained under the renowned Iranian painter Nami Petgar, grounding my early work in realism before moving toward impressionism and ultimately discovering my passion for abstract fluid art.

Authentic Expression

I believe art is about what is felt as much as what is seen. Every piece I create for ShahlaSoulPaintings is an authentic extension of my journey, blending intuition, transformation and artistic freedom. My art reflects both the influences of my past and the ever-evolving beauty I find in the world around me.

My Journey With Art

Modern art on wall with gold tables.

My journey as a self-taught artist began with realism, focusing on oil portraits, still lifes, and landscapes.

Over time, I shifted toward impressionism, using acrylics to explore mood and light.

Embracing abstract fluid art marked a pivotal moment, allowing me to break boundaries and prioritize emotion.

Persistent practice and experimenting with different mediums deepened my connection to my inner self.
